Valve is going to upset alot of ppl if the game is delayed too long so I expect it to be out mid Oct at the latest if it doesn't make the 9/30 date. Of course no matter when it's released, it will sell millions, so let's just wait and hear from the all elusive guys from Valve who will say...

Coop would be the best thing... especially since they removed it from the PC version of Halo, which would have been the only reason for me to buy it. I had a Half Life 2 forum dream that all the posts actually had something to do with Half Life 2 and not about Delays and System Requirements and Ati this and nVidia that... man that was a great dream.. oh well, back to reality!! :D

VU is not as big anymore since they sold alot of the company, and I think they are hanging on to their gaming line because they know that the future for gaming is bright, especially for HL2 :D

I wouldn't say this consumes my time... I do frequently come here for any new info (which rarely there is) and to get a good laugh at all the stupid delay threads and 'will my system run the game' threads. I play other games til I get bored and then come back here and read until I want to play...

I would play Halo, Bf1942, Ravenshield and NHL2004.. should keep me busy for the short delay and then uninstall them so only Half Life 2 graces my HD til I am done the single player game :D

Only leaked games get warezed early.. Betas and such get leaked by testers and full games get leaked by reviewers and/or inside sources. Valve is to smart to let anyone they don't know well or trust to play their game and risk it getting pirated. And I am sure they also have some pretty good...

Retail stores know less then we do because they don't read these forums or interviews from the people at Valve and just go by judgement.
