valve has stated that they dont want magazine reviews out before the game so that there are no spoilers for ppl waiting for the game. if the magazine schedules are correct then we should see HL2 very soon

being an avid counter-striker (used to play for a top 10 uk cs team) i voted cs:s as i will probably play that 1 most. although im very sure ill be playing day of defeat as well. ive been waiting for TF2 since 1999, (my first online game was TFC) so im sure ill buy/preload that once it comes...

its highly unlikely that the first RC was accepted. as a software engineer i have never had the first RC of any software i have produced accepted through QA (that could be im just a crap coder! :P) its usually the 2nd or 3rd most of the time as there are always a few niggling issues that i have...

yea, i want to get dawn of war, looks like a good game the singleplayer game is wicked. i want world of warcraft too oh yea and there is HL2 and i also want to upgrade my computer. hmmm so many things, so little euro to spend :P

im guessing the hazard course will probably be some crap about 'refreshing your memory' or 'making sure ur reflexes are still sharp'. something along those lines if there is a hazard course, that will be how they fit it in.

i agree with what most people have said, i think after the 3rd game it would be milking the Half Life story to go any further. a trilogy is always nice :)

i didnt say the level of detail in the corridors was poor. but the fact that there is only corridors is stupid. its all plain sailing, run through the corridors shooting things up, that formula may have worked in earlier fps games (doom, quake etc) but now people are looking for a lot more from...
