God, I'm really not enjoying the new look. Apart from the texture/brushwork being a bit flat, which may/may not make the final cut, they've desaturated and bloomed out the post-processing a little. I really liked colourful Halo ;(

AFAIK you get dropped in, and explore on foot. Neatly cuts out the tedious exploring, and lets them polish the side-quests properly. I wonder how the new vehicle fits into all of this.

If they made a Half Life in the vein of Stalker, with all the stuff Valve bring to the table - decent story, decent facial expressions, polished to **** - I would jizz. in. my. pants. Unworkable, I know, but still, my pants would be like full up with jizz.

Well, there is no Mako in the core game, so this would be its replacement, if you chose to buy it. I guess. I'm kindof glad I don't have a decent rig right now, I'd buy the lot super-super-quick with the tin and everything if I could run it
