I'm not jealous. He's not that talented at anything he does, except maybe get some shallow idiots to pay attention to him. Nothing he has done so far is special, but some of it has been pretty lame.
O..kay...
Back on topic.. how do i beat it? I lasted maybe 5-7 minutes, and I couldn't see how I could 'beat' it. What happens? Do they stop coming after a while, or do reinforcements come in, or what?
Can't help you with the tutorial because I don't know what you mean [and I'm not up to that yet], but as a newbie mapper you should just make a simple leak-proof room and go from there. Every time you think of something cool that you don't know how to do, put it in that room. Then make a door...
What he's saying is, the surroundings that 'box' the map in and constrict where the player goes are very fake and unrealistic - a lot of amateur [don't take offense at this] map makers make a 'box' and then build the world in it, and it looks very fake.
It makes more sense for the resistance to draw graffiti, but it makes more sense for the combine to draw that specific graffiti. I remain undecided. Stop saying "That's all there is to it" Because it isn't. Jesus christ.
I can't remember what the 'caste' thing meant, nor can I be bothered looking into it, but the general consensus is that it is combine propaganda, suggesting that the combine can and look after humanity with love and affection.
I've got it in my playlist and i just listen to it anyway. I really like the ambience of it, i just wish it was more stylised.. actually I wish i knew how to use fruityloops, I'm making a SP mod and i want more music :P

Hey Doug,
I'll try and keep this short and sweet. First off, congratulations to
you and everyone at Valve for making the single...
If you want the textures of multiple objects to 'match up', select them all, go to texture and select 'treat as one'. This is assuming they all have the same texture.
After you split things up, you can't make them one piece. You just have to select all the brushes and group them together.
"Hey, citizens of china and australia! Vote now on which country is better!"
Population of china - 1.2 billion
Population of australia - 20 million
WHO WILL WIN?!
Whatever you were doing, I didn't get your obscure reference. I would imagine there are stairs in your house, but either way I'm not too fussed, as I still can't find anything ironic or anthing that might serve as a reference.
I thought you might be joking, but I didn't see how it made...
