Ah ok, well thanks for the reply...i won't be modelling any trees tho lol i can barely model a cube...if anyone knows of any custom tree models i could borrow that'd work for HL2 i'd be happy to hear from you :)

Hi guys, am having trouble getting a custom tree model into my map. First off, this is not my model, it's a downloaded one, but the map i'm making is purely for screenshot/non-release/test purposes so don't worry about copyrights or anything like that. I'm kinda new to the whole modelling...

I just installed Farenheit on my PC and it doesn't seem to want to work. When i click the .exe file an ms-dos type window briefly flashes up and then disappears, and that's all that happens. I'm guessing this is a problem my PC has with running ms-dos (16-bit?) based applications or something...

The whole show is pants to be fair, could've been so much better given the talent behind and in it...i still rate Peep Show as the funniest recent British comedy series by far

Sorry to raise an old thread but this film is great, just got round to seeing it, so original and witty and a good story behind it too, well worth watching.

Yeah great film, got it a while back when it came out in Britain based on good reviews, have watched it quite a few times since...i love the wardrobe decapitation lol, and i don't think the twist is that bad to be fair, slightly far fetched, but i can deal with it.

The Teesside school of computing is actually regarded as the best in the country for video games and other related courses stormy :) Also run by developers and people from the industry...but i'm sure Solent is good too, guess it just depends on how far away you wanna live

Hey Crackhead, i go to Teeside Uni and am doing a similar course to the one you are heading for, its called Creative Digital Media and it's a kinda mish mash of everything to do with gaming, including (2nd year) level design, modelling, animation, and games design and production. Good luck...
