Just tell him the truth that HL2 is a "buy game" and it doesnt matter how much u crack it. Bcoz theres always some f*cked up bug in it anyways. and He'll really want to play with the great mods and dm. does jbmod work with the cracked version? If not, hes gonna miss something

I know someone that has finnished HL2 and he did it on this: PIII 733mhz 320MB ram GF4 MX 440 It ran pretty well (think about how you expect the game to run on this kinda system) .. some really crappy fps when there was like lots of stuff goin on of course. And it doesn't look THAT bad...

You can play it. BUT, however you can expect a very bad drawdistance on objects. not enemys and important stuff.. but barrels, boxes, cars etc. with GF4 mx cards the game is that way....

I had the same problem. It showed up that the zip file contains a folder with the name jbmod in it. and there's all the files So i unzipped it into half-life2\jbmod and then, of course, it went out like half-life2\jbmod\jbmod =) check it out. it can be that

It's not so hard. 1. unzip the file into Half-life2 directory. (like "c:\games\steam\steamapps\your@mail\half-life2\") 2. right click the half-life 2 shortcut in mygames at steam. click properties/options ther click launch options and there type "-console -applaunch 220 -game jbmod"...

the ballsocket is like the two objects welded can freely rotate at the point its welded... mehh.... Press C to switch between modes. fixed is normal and rope is rope =) Cool as hehh to put those rocket stuff in ropes in front of a bed. It's crazy

Ok guys. This is my try to make a thread only for the jbmod stuff... News, screens, vids and more (or is it mow, alix?) I will post my stuff here when I manage to make movies. download latest jbmod at pcgamemods 0.5 is the latest ver as far as i know. :smoking:

DIVX codec is so lame. U don't need it. At least u dont need to download it. All you need is to download VLCplayer or the win32 port of Mplayer If you use one of those, I guarantee that you can watch every singel movie out there... I cant believe that some people don't know about them...

:) I agree... In fact I found that sound very creepy. it's scaryer, (in a way), than ravenholm when you are competly sorrounded by antlions and you shoot like crazy and run away to get some space. Then you hear that sound like. *bluphphphphph* And it gets louder and louder and you can't see...

Yeah, the sound is awesome. Like when a barrel or a grenade explode near you, it beeps in your ear. and then the sound is a bit muted with some filter. That is awesome. And the sound changes in different envorinments. this has been in games before, just never so well done as in HL2 :)

HL2 is awesome -period!
