Look at quake 3, that game is/was humongous, and it had absolutely no tactics or evening for the loser, just straight forward fighting.
Players don't have to have help when they're losing, the winning team just can't get too many advantages. As long as it's even then people tend to like it.

Someone needs to make a mod where you can play as Xen. Being a strider or a manatee flying thing, or ant lion gaurd would be so awesome. Think of multiplayer, seeing a giant strider taking down a manatee, and then seeing an ant lion gaurd ram the strider's leg, and it falls over. Some awesome...
Is it just me or does this just seem like a ploy to get someone to make buildings for you? I understand you want people to make buildings for you, and that's fine, but the tshirt thing seems more like a second or third place prize...
Also, most coding programs are a lot cheaper than the high end modelling stuff.
The modelling stuff is like $2000-$4000 IIRC. You can get a good coding program like visual C++ standard for like $100.
This is all if you go the... legal means though. I'm a bit skeptical of how many 15 year olds...
It's more like decreasing damage to lower difficulty. The high damage is more like real life, hence the hardest setting being called "Realistic."
