Yes, i noticed an increase on my 3dmark'03 score with this driver version. Went from 6226 to 6248. Small increase, but better than going down. :E

Yeah, pc4000 is no good for tight timings like you're talking about. Go for some HyperX pc3200 with the bh-5 chips, the one's without the A in the model number...like this KHX3200/256. NOT like this...KHX3200A/256. They do 2-2-2-6 at boot up. :thumbs:

Go with ATi.:thumbs: Nvidia's future may be looking bright right now as they've redeemed themselves with their latest releases and they have the NV40 coming up, but ATi is still on top. So as of right now i'd say go with ATi.

The tighter your RAM's timings, the better performance you'll get. But it wont be better performance by leaps and bounds, just a little. I'm actually running 1gig of Corsair Value Select RAM 2.5-3-3-8 and my system runs great. Value Select RAM isnt much for overclocking though. ;(

All i can say is that cooling he has on the CPU and 9800XT must be amazing. The video card OC alone is something to drool over...657/471??? @ hyenolie, it's not how it looks, but how it performs.;) Besides, extreme OC'ers dont use cases for temp reasons.
