Bumpmapping is not mipmapping, and they're pretty easy on video cards. The reason why bump maps and normal maps exist is to take strain off of cards rendering triangles. Mipmapping is something else altogether, it's like lod for texture maps.
I just cut it up in photoshop. Your uvw unwrap should have as little blank space as possible. That way you can enlarge everything and get the maximum texture resolution possible for your texture size. It's like a puzzle, and this is a very fast example here:

Your athlon will blow a p4 3.0 ghz out of the water, and give a 4.0 ghz a run for it's money. More efficient cycles. That's why intel wants you to think ghz = processing power, but it's not.
func_physbox also has a start_motion_disabled or start_frozen or something like that too. It's not motion disable though, that will freeze it permanently until you trigger it to start physically interacting.
