Damn, HL2 is completely bugged. I tried to launch HL2, and look deeper into it, but behold, another glitch in the system prevented me from starting the game.
if anyones curious on what it actually says, it just means that the DLL file doesn't exist or didn't get found. Oh golly, More...
I'd recommend Tools of Destruction and A Crack in Times a lot. I'd say that their the most entertaining of the new R&C games, and equally as fun as the old ones. They haven't changed the formula a lot, so theres nothing wrong with the new games, and their just as good as the old ones on PS2...
You should try and go into your config.cfg file in the cfg folder, and add this simple line to the bottom of the script: "exec autoexec.cfg"
Hopefully that should work. If it doesn't, then I have no clue on what you could do next. Reinstall the whole game from scratch? xP
Aight, to just end the discussion of no meaning; I'm not upset that these games did not come on the list, it just seems you are trying to create a list that seems very difficult, and I feel like you can't just make the best games of all time with only 10 contributors. All the games you have put...
Actually, can I rephrase my agurment? Basically what I mean is, that you like epic and memorable moments, and other people prefer other stuff. So for this list to be objective, you must cover both sides, since you we're trying to list of the best games that have ever existed. As I said in my...
This is a perfect time to express my point. You can't compare Super Meat Boy and Super Mario Galaxy 64. The one's a 2D platformer, and the other is a 3D platformer. If you wan't to compare something Mario related to Super Meat Boy, then pick the old ones instead. Super Mario World is a much more...
Man, I've got so many games on top of my head that I thought you missed.
For an example; Ratchet and Clank, Crash Bandicoot, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Sly series, Counter Strike, The Command and Conquer series, Hotline Miami, Fallout series (Except BoF), Hitman: Blood Money, I Have No Mouth...
It certainly feels like you're missing a lot of great games, if these are your only picks. Not saying that your list is bad, but I feel like you're stretching it a lot. Making a list of all of the games that have ever been created, and then list them off is a difficult task on its own.
Lucky me, I already have all those games !
No but seriously. The average Steam user doesn't have a lot of games to begin with. This is a great move done by Valve and the devs to introduce people to new games, and perhaps ransack their wallets.
Jeez, half of them are either dubstep or just not fitting at all. I'm pretty sure they're not that good at making soundtracks. At least they are optionable.
Looks cool. Although I have already played Half-Life, so this is pretty late for me. Maybe for people who is new to the game? Though from what I can see, it's some pretty solid work.
I agree that the creating a void, which we feel anxiety and uncertainty, can be very powerfull. However, this is not what singularly creates a good horror game. You can not create a void, and use it through the whole game without anything happening.
If nothing happens, then the game or level...
