Not everyone deals with situations like that. People's feelings shouldn't be disregarded because they have a different emotional response. It may be "smarter" to deal with this kind of situation by saying "Oh well, they're idiots", but for some the reaction would be to punch them in the face...
Also I'm hoping the "light" the woman was speaking of in Across the Sea was simply the understanding of the intense electromagnetic energy that someone 2000 years ago would have. For the entire duration of the show, they've referred to the island's power as electromagnetic energy, and Dharma...
Oh no, there's far more I'm irritated about than that. It's just another missed opportunity on a very long list. Given that this was probably the last episode they're dedicating to the island's past, I expect we'll get no answer on the lighthouse, the temple, Ben's weird smoke-monster summoning...
That would mean the Egyptians were at the island before them then. Would've been nice to have some timeline clarification, I figured about 2000 years ago anyway from the Latin. So I'm guessing we'll never have any information on the Egyptian presence, despite it being such a strong source of the...
What impresses me even more is what a solid port it is. Performance isn't just good, it's incredible given how gorgeous the game looks. I can entirely max out the graphics and haven't once had any problems, which unfortunately is such a rarity on PC these days. So pleased with the game.
Did anyone else laugh at how many times they said across the sea in this episode? Especially the MiB/ghost mother scene.
Such terrible dialogue in this episode. Read the above out loud to yourself and contemplate how the **** Cuse and Lindelof could have seriously OK'd that. The mythology was...
I've been holding out hope with BFBC2 that it'll be completely fixed eventually and I'll play it all the time. Luckily it was bought for me by a friend who owed me, but I'm really starting to regret not taking the offer of the PS3 version.
Hmm...If this stays somewhat grounded in reality and keeps the difficulty up it may be interesting.
Edit: As long as keeping difficulty up doesn't mean uncanny enemy accuracy and grenade spam.
^ This.
Also, I've heard complaints about the scene where...
A criticism could be that Madison was sexualised more than need be, but objectified she was not. In fact, my girlfriend really liked the Madison, thought she was portrayed well and was most involved when playing as her.
OR MAYBE YOU'RE REPRESSING THE MEMORIES CUS OF HOW HARD I RAPED YOU!!
I have L4D2. I've barely played though, so you'd have to protect me like I'm your granpa or something.
This won't matter at all once it all goes digital anyway. People won't be able to be mad long enough for this to become a serious issue. I suppose it's a shame for rentals, but who would rent for multiplayer anyway? It takes more than a few days to be able to appreciate multiplayer.
