I agree with Hiro, but on the other hand aren't we all working towards putting our models in a game environment? If that's the case then its important to see what the models look like in game.
My $0.02
Model looks good so far.
Model looks pretty good from those last few renders, but the pictures are a little on the dark side. If you could get a larger wire up it would help a little. From what I could see on the wire you posted higher up, it looks like you could optimize some areas of your model.
The nose of the ship is a little short in comparison to the wingspan. I would think something with wings that wide would be a little longer, but that's just me.
Good looking start.
Yeah, what exactly do you mean IchI?
I think what Mailman might be doing is taking a OpenGL shot from inside Lightwave instead of rendering out a picture. That could account for why the perspective might be off.
I know what you mean Djaggernaut. I've got some many projects sitting around that I really want to finish, but I can't seem to find time to.
Great looking model by the way! I wouldn't worry about the low-poly look to it. A good skin can make all the difference. Ever see the character...
^^ aye, glad it wasn't just me who couldn't understand him.
But on to the models... That's a fantastic pistol in your first shot. Very nice indeed. The pistol and the other models look a little too high poly, but if we all read correctly and they are around 2000 /\'s then good for you!
While we're on the subject of it... the breasts would naturally hang more to the sides, but since she will have some sort of clothing on I think it will turn out okay. The dress/bra/outfit would hold them in closer to the middle (which is probably why you modeled them that way, now that I...
Fantastic texture job. The hair looks like a photo texture job, but how about the rest of the face? Hand drawn?
My only other comment would be that the neck doesn't seem to connect to the rest of the body in that bottom wire shot.
Great job so far!
^^ Agreed, a larger shot would help with the feedback. Try to let it fill up the frame a little more. Aside from the comments already made, it looks pretty good.
Dang. Mad props for a job well done on the face. I like the hair too, I never thought about doing it quite like that. I like the style you're going for in your mod. Very nice.
My only crit would be the dress, but since that's still inprogress I'll hold off until it's finished.
All...
I disagree about the collar and such being textured on. For years the suits we've seen in games have been flat. Look at the old gman. We have the technology now, so why not put it to work and use just a few extra polys to have an actual collar? True, the suit lapel could easily be a bump or...
