Yes, Valve could go after the guys who download it, but I don't think they will. Honestly, I think Valve has more important things to do. Like catching the hacker behind all of this, getting Steam working properly, and getting HL2 released. I very much doubt Valve is going to waste their time...
There is already cures for cancer, but a secret division of the US government pushed the cure under a rug many years ago.
Cancer is a "trillion dollar industry". Cancer is also a way of population control.
With all the cancer donations and events around the world. Where do you think all...
It depends on the timeframe, but you could write a business plan for a game development company. Include a detailed plan on your game idea with drawings and notes about the game. If your going to include a small part of the game, or demo, that would be a good idea also.
In the game idea plan...
Valve isn't going to go after the guys who download the leak. Valve will go after the guys who distribute the game, and the original people behind the leak. Valve would be kicking themselves if they went after THEIR customers who download the leak. The people who download it, will buy their...
I haven't downloaded either the source or beta, but I don't find anything really wrong with it. Everyone that does download the beta will buy the game. How does that hurt Valve?. It doesn't. Valve should be happy that people want their game so bad, that they're willing to download a leaked...
Valve doesn't lose a penny over this. It just extends the amount of time it takes to make money from the game. Thats all. The game would have delayed anyways, so I don't think it made much of an affect anyways. People will still buy the game. The leak will not stop people from buying the game...
Playing this leaked version would not mean your backstabbing valve, afterall, your going to buy the game anyways. If anything, it should make Valve happy that you want to waste hours downloading a portion of their game that probably won't even work or will probably be full of viruses that will...
Vivendi told us the game would be delayed. Valve continued to promise us that we would be playing hl2 by the end of september. In the end, Vivendi won. I think I'll put my eggs in Vivendi's basket this round.

This being your first website, good luck.
If your open to suggestions, I suggest you make the menu less thick (wide). Also, make the colors more visual acceptable. As it is now, its an eye sore.

I wonder if we all should be worried about using steam, or having it running while we surf the web. Since there was, and might still be keystroke recorders installed on Valve's computers, then they could be made to integrate with the Steam network, which could infect everyone.

Just because Alcatraz is in a different location doesn't mean Gordon won't go there. He has been known to be transported to very distant locations before.

Maybe this has been discussed before, but here goes. Since Valve is supposed to be at Alcatraz on the 30th, and the following screenshot shows a jail, perhaps Alcatraz is in the game?.

Speaking of ads in steam. Who really clicks on them?. I mean, the only time I use steam is when I want to play a game. I'm not going to click a banner when my game is loading!

I hate when companies do this. They waited 5 years before really announcing this game. The least they could have done was wait until they KNEW when they could release the game. Why get their fans excited, then let them down at the last minute?. Its pathetic. Releasing for the holidays isn't...
