I can almost guarantee you that it will be longer than 16 days. 16 days is if everything goes absolutely perfect. It will probably be 1-2 weeks longer than that. So more like 23-30 days IMHO. Dave

RC is a good word in engineering. I work in engineering and when we say we are getting ready to make a Release Candidate, it means that we are pretty damn sure that we fixed all of the bugs(that we know of) and we are going to give it one last test(in our company, it is about a week, who knows...

hmmm, maybe I'm missing the official trailer then? I know about the 9 or so videos from E3. I also know Valve released some of those videos "officially". Is there something else I am missing? Thanks, Dave

I realize there are several threads about this very subject, but some of us folks, like myself, come here to find information rather than post in the forums. Personally, I felt it was a valid question and thought that I woudl respond. The point is, there are several people that come here...

My 2 cents... They will announce the gold date before Septermber 30th and the game will be ready to purchase off the shelf by mid-October. Dave
