soulray that means if u turn on vsync you'll run at 85fps, but no more than that unless, u turn off vsync.

seriously i spent $970 on my new system and it would tear up that alienware easily. anyways i guess you would be ok at 1600x1200. depends if you like to play with vsync or not. if u got a good monitor with a high refrsh rate then go for it. try it out.
