They were newer dell dimension pc's so im assuming they were ati 9700's or 9800, maybe 9600xt. I really dont know, none of the dweebs playing had any clue when I asked. But I did notice a nice shine off the bricks in one of the scenes that looked very similar to a DX 9 feature.
I just want to make a comment, id like to see if anyone else agree's that saw CS:Source at there local cyber cafe.
Did anyone notice the shadows of the players. They looked aweful on the machines I watched. They were just large circles that jumped around unrealistically as the light...
Does everyone think valve is going to tell us when half life 2 is bug free and sent to vivendi, or do you think there will be silence until it is in mass production? :naughty:

Valve has kept a tight lip about TF2, i find it hard to believe that they would all of a sudden spill that its in the "finishing stages" to some foreign gaming news. I think this was eather added or lost in translation.

I see this as bad, concidering they just hired him in october?? That means that the code is probibly still in development, whatever he is working on. Further proving that half life 2 is no where in site, probibly in the next 6 months. IMHO :thumbs:
