Those guys at Troika must be peeved as hell, having to wait until Half-Life 2 releases before they get to release their baby. I'd love to see the look on their faces if Half-Life 2 is pushed into an 05' release.

I admit I fall victim easily to all manner of speculation and rumor. My optimism has failed me time and again with this project unfortunately. Who knows...perhaps it will be rewarded this time.

Probably the launch screen (within Steam) for Half-Life 2 once it's activated. You most likely saw just the backdrop for it, and they'll include all launch options once the game is released (which is why you see all those question marks). BTW that's the menu screen that was used in the build...
