yea its actualy on the front page of this website. its in an interview with a chuck (from a magazine that reviewed hl2).

appently they mentioned it just this last week..i know it sucks..the most fun i ever had was playing hl1 with all my friends on cross fire(which seriously needs to be ported to hl2).

hopfully they'll aim for a sept. 30 release so they can only say it was only a 1 year delay.

the beta isnt even a beta its a build meaning they stole it and its not a officail beta. its missing story and plot('thank god') really all the maps are kinda incomplete and its not worth playing unless your just making maps or playing multiplayer(which also sucks becasue models are ****ed so...

What do you think this Steam planned downtime is for? its kinda odd but. maybe a big change in servers. or changes to the game, dunno. what do you think.

guys the files in the .gfc's are compressed and so far theres been two of them each about 1 gb.

i still dont like it that valve took off the limit steam usage and pause all downloads functions. they just went missing after the cs:s beta took off

get ready for test 3. since noone felt wrong with opening the last preload for hl2 im sure you guys wouldnt mind opening the new preload and gazing around. im only half way downloading it. so.well.
