Already fixed it.. I preloaded the original half-life, and then it worked.. Still missing some textures ingame..at the beginning of the hazard course..that's weird.. It looks and plays cool tough :) It's better in motion then on screenshots.

I LOVED the ending..best ending ever.. Also the game was long..I played all day since 16 sept lol, and only finished now..took me about 16-20 hours. Best game I ever played by FAR, no discussion.

As said in title: Halflife:source does nothing when I start it up, and see the loading screen. I see the harddrive light flicker a little, and nothing happens..anyone else has this problem?

HL2= Best game ever period. ALL other games are jokes compared to this. No discussion even POSSIBLE..

But I lost the savegame..damn.. I'm now in 'anticitizen one' -- oh well..it was VERY hard, and only little part I cheated..

I defeated it with cheating..I'm a LITTLE further now..but now I kinda lost the feeling I really got there, so I'm gonna do it again :)

I'm at the same place, and also stuck.. playing on hard, and it's almost impossible imo.. You can enable the console at advanced, @ controls.

Ive been playing it from the beginning on hard, and I LOVE it. I've just finished ravenholm, and father gregori is in the past for mr freeman over here :)

This game..is ..im out of words.. incredible..great..fantastic..everything..I'm very far in the game already, and what I played so far is Magnificent. Other games are A JOKE compared to this.. that's the pure truth. Valve, I put my hat down for you..respect.. you guys are pure...

I'm experiencing kinda weird things on my water. Some kind of 'vertical lines' .. wich are irritating if you notice them.. examples: my own 6800 GT I compared with some1 I know, who has a X800XT: I'm sure you guys can see what I mean, just compare the latest two urls...

When will people stop saying that bullshit that you can't see anywhere above 30 fps..omfg. You can feel AND see it..anyone who disagrees is an idiot. Fps for me: 70+

Do you compile with rad and vis on normal? That way, my water and lightning always works.

Update; the new official drivers released today have upped my fps alot.. I haven't seen it go to 20 fps anymore. I have seen it go to 34 fps tough with many people walking around in water @ chateau.
