Why? HALO 2 is a console game. Half Life 2 will hardly lose sales if its released at the same time as HALO 2, cause both got a different audience.

It just doesn't make sense at all that they can't even say if HL 2 has its own mp or not. A simple yes or no would do. It wouldn't spoil anything at all. So I think they are keeping quiet cause they don't wanna dissapoint people already.

Head bobbing gives me motion sickness, so I don't really care its not in. And if its in , then I hope there is an option to turn it off. Like in many games.

Noone here can see into the future, so I doubt we will be able to tell what is the best card out in a year. :sleep: But I think you can best upgrade everything, it will all be kinda old in a year.

Yes it is, but he isn't talking about cards, but talking about modes.. A direct x 9.0 card can run in HL 2 in the three modes he just mentioned. Direct x 9 , 8.1 and 7 mode. 9 has the most eyecandy but is also the biggest fps eater, while the other 2 modes have less eyecandy but thanks to...

How can they fix it? DX9 has alot more shiny stuff then DX 8 and 7, so its logical that it does better then 9. :frog: But anyways, nice find. Im sure many online gamers will use this, cause most of them care more about their FPS then the GFX.

Well if the choice for valve is between that risk or many people warezing HL 2 before buying it to test how it runs on their PC I knew what I would pick..

Not really happy with that, even Far Cry and Doom 3 get better FPS then , while Source was suppose to be the best engine for low end systems...

I suggest you watch the movie of the benchmark, cause I doubt anyone is gonna rip an empty map.

But why don't they include Nvidia's powerhouse Geforce 6800 Ultra extreme in the benchmarks. I think that one would be on par with the X800 PE. Or am I saying something silly here now?
