Wow, the performance hiccups in this game are annoying as hell. 60 FPS in some spots, then ~20 in others, almost completely at random. FO3 had a solid FPS for me at the same settings. This is really distracting.
My 20" Samsung is starting to give out again (got it replaced under warranty a few years ago). Takes about a minute for it to reach full brightness after turning it on. Really starting to consider an IPS panel, since I already have a nice 24" TN panel for gaming. Might go with...
I can't believe that they're still wasting so much time and money on anti-marijuana operations, especially considering how close it is to being legalized in California. I hope that prop 19 does pass, just so it can start a ripple across the country.

My first game is going swimmingly as Aztec on normal. So far I've conquered France, China, and Germany with little resistance, and I now have complete control over the largest continent. None of the remaining AI seem anywhere near as advanced as I am. This is actually the first time I've ever...
It's currently sitting at around 85% average reviews, if you're the sort of person that cares about that. Most are saying it is a refreshingly lengthy (20+ hours) and polished game, despite borrowing much from it's inspiration. Combat seems to be quite deep, music is described as excellent...
