Freakishly spot on my thoughts of the movie. Watch the Final Cut version and Dangerous Days making of documentary; Scott always has great 'making of' documentaries. Even though his movies have been lackluster in the last few years, they're always visually beautiful.

I'll be watching it tomorrow I guess, what a shit summer for movies. Last time I went to the cinemas was Kick-Ass, which was awful.

Because the Phoenix song is similar to Elliot Smith, Velvet Underground and The Kinks, it means her soundtracks are inspired by Anderson? Phoenix song selection couldn't possibly anything to do with that she met Thomas Mars while making Virgin Suicides and now have 2 kids together. Probably not...

It was pretty good when it first came out, remember playing the MP to death. Tried replaying a the MP a long time back and remembering it didn't age too well. Combat was never really the highlight of Deus-Ex.
