Thats the problem with uploading. It makes the downloads slow, and if you wanna play while you're uploading you get 4095 ping. I think it's good if you could, lets say, tell Steam to upload in just half of your upload speed. That way it would still be relativly fast, and everything will stay...

That file started at 180KB for me, then dropped down to my 65KB limitation :(

If you get to the point where Steam changes the resolution, and get stuck for more than a minute or two, ctrl+alt+delete and try again. Works for everything. If Steam gets stuck - reopen.

If you had HL previous installation Steam will get the cd-key from the registry, you don't have to type anything.

Steam being slow has nothing to do with your hardware or your computer. Its just is. Ty restarting it. Evantually he'll get tired fighting and download the damn content.

Well that city17 movie was released, so I guess the others will too. only 3 weeks left for HL2, I guess it won't be long before we will get those movies.

Yeah. You can also change the color in there. For most of the little icons in steam I used a blue overlay in Photoshop. You can edit the tray icon if you want, it's in one of Steam's folders. heh I'm gonna do a wicked red steam :) --- to not spam, the original font used was Tahoma...

I agree. It's like they wanna compete with Microsoft for the buggiest most resource consuming software ever. Currently valve is leading.

You just put them in a directory inside steam's one. Don't remember its name.
