The reason the floor is so shiny is because the janitor was mopping it just before Sam grabbed him, you can see his mop on the floor. The best bit is watching the floor get shinier as he mops it.

Graphical quality is definately improved, more polygons, crisper textures, better shadows and lighting, drops of water on visor when you pass through steam instead of a texture and of course an awesome art style.

Metroid is all about feeling isolated in an alien enviroment having a populated city just wouldn't feel right. If thats what you want go play that Star Wars: Bounty Hunter game ;

Ghostboi, the DS is definately launching in the U.S first however I live in the U.K.

I will definately be importing a DS at launch but theres no way I'm rushing out to buy a PSP until I know more about the battery life and the price, the best handheld games are made by Nintendo, stuff like Wario Ware is perfect for a portable but I can't see many of the Sony franchises...

If you don't like Halo stay out of topics about the game. Halo 2 most importantly is going to be fun as hell, no other FPS can come close to the core combat imo.
