    It's an issue with multisampling FSAA, NOT nV or ATi. Just that for some magical reason (prolly that ATi is just..well..better;)) ATi can fix their problem using software and nV cannot.

    Lifthz is correct. Just that for some reason, the fix for the R300 series of cards can be done in drivers whereas the nVidia fix will require some hardware tweaks.

    Yes, but there are people at valve who probably spend a lot of time testing hardware configurations. Surely someone at valve has popped in a GFFX and tried half-life 2 on it :rolleyes:

    Both the R300 and NV30 have been out for some time now; shouldnt someone at VALVe or nVidia noticed and resolved this issue with AA like 6 months ago?
