You know, there are kind of less 'Space Marine' FPS games these days. Time was you were either a relatively contemporary soldier or a space marine. A lot of what tries to be edgy is simply just the two things mashed into each other. Either way, the FPS can't seem to look much further than Aliens...
Before we all jump on that particular bandwagon, has anyone actually played Timeshift? Kind of the point, I know, but from all accounts I've seen, it was simply an FPS also-ran in a crowded market, as opposed to a maliciously awful game. Such a studio would be hard-pressed to mismanage what...
343 Industries?
You'd have thought that, if they wanted people to trust the direction the franchise was going in, they wouldn't have named the team after an annoying, instantly forgettable mascot most famous for its inability to get a bloody move on whilst leading your through what is...
A decade ago I would have hoped they were going to keep the four awesome levels in and create the other half of the game properly, but hey. Nothing says 'the war is over' quite like a prequel followed by a remake.
Mass Effect 2? If you look around you can probably get both games for that price, and there's easily over a week between them. First still sucks though.
Tangled - 9/10
I'm going to indulge myself and give this a nine. Not only is this one of the most visually beautiful 3D animated films ever created, I think this has probably finally justified Disney's 'me too' move into computer animation. This is the first time such a film has ever felt...
What? You mean Porco Rosso? That started out as an in-flight movie, but it grew into another feature film. Not sure it was even shown on JAL after all the fuss.
So from the list, I take it you're familiar exclusively with Miyazaki's films? An appreciation of Ghibli isn't complete without Grave...
PM away, though I may not have an answer to everything :P As for the ammount I wrote, that's kind of down to the complexity of what you're asking and the fact that I can't say anything concisely.
It's worth pointing out that every UK University Union has a website of some kind. They're at great...
Wha.... ? I can't even get to Lincolnshire on less than 5 hours, and I'd expect it to crap out on me the second I got to any destination the north side of London. You and I live in a teeny tiny, densely populated backwater of the earth as well. Traversing most of the US or much of Europe could...
Well, this is where my ability to actually comment on examples in the game in question runs out prematurely, so I'll have to take your word for it. Ultimately though, it's not a scenario element that would outweigh everything I hated about my Fallout 3 experience :P
Oh, and considering the Zero...
The thing with a Fallout game as well, is that the game basically gives players everything they need to completely circumvent the issue altogether. It's a kind of gaming 'Don't ask, don't tell' that just leaves the issue untangled with altogether, especially when combined with 'silent' gay...
If I could tell my young self one thing, it would be 'go back through the door you just went through'. ****ing stupid design.
Yeah, they're alright. But as Bad^Hatnhedges says, MASH MASH MASH
Weren't we expecting a £250 sticker price for the 3DS? Launching it at the same price that PSP Go started out at is pretty smart. It reminds us that no matter how overpriced the last two Nintendo machines have been (and remained damnit, Wii) there's always Sony, this generation's Sega.
Well it's not like I'm keeping tally or anything, but I think I did it through three times in 2000, maybe twice the next year, and went back to it something like once every two years. I highly doubt that my replaying pattern was unusual either (I mean, 'everytime you mention it, someone...
