Freelancer, concerning your sig, why just not own him? There are some quite nasty tricks you can play at him. I'm not going to give you any more info but I hope you catch my drift.
That doesn't really seem to matter on mapping forums. If you don't have the looks people don't really seem to care about gameplay. I'm not trying to put you down here.
On the other hand, hosting the map online yourself and people joining and trying it out will make them enjoy the gameplay...
I have the above mentioned card. It can't handle the games comming out towards christmas, but you should be more than good until then. (It probably can "handle" them, but not in the way you'd like them to).

Edit: I should mention that I'm more than satisfied with it.
I believe the highest ATI shader, currently present, is 2.2. This is like the first game to actually USE 3.0. There's not any major difference otherwise.
The error has appeared once again. Same symptoms as before, and I haven't touched my system sinse I reinstalled my drivers.
So what the **** is up with this mess? If you guys can't solve it I'd be happy if you could direct me to a more "Hardware/Software Nerdy" forum. I just can't live with...
No, as in it restarts itself after freezing, like you would see when one would overheat, only that is not the issue here.

Edit: I'm starting to have a feeling this is a harddrive related issue. I may have some bad clusters... Or a faulty drive. Not that it's not working...
I might just add in that there are loads of "pingers" that ping for open computers. Just because your router blocks an IP it doesn't necessairly mean that there's a human behind it physically trying to break in to YOUR machine.
