Bleh, there is a program where you can make faces in 3D just by options such ethnicity and loads of sliders to customise the way it looks. Its around $300 I think tho.
And I cant remember the name, I keep thining FacePoser but I know thats a Valve program, I'll keep thinking :/.

I am part against suprnova because it is so easy. With it being so accessable it means that there are more people downloading that would normally buy stuff which really does harm music film and games companies in loss of sales, rather than just people downloading who wouldnt...

Navigate to your hl2 folder and backup the folder called SAVE.
Should be something like this
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\USERNAME\half-life 2\hl2\SAVE
phys_lengthconstraint should all you need.
Do 4 where each of the keyframe_ropes are on the bridge, parent them to the bridge check other settings for slack ect
Drag the circle and dot in the middle of the phys_lengthconstraint to where the rope is on the poles.

For the ending tho, i would suggest having a scene with the citadel in, looking up at the sheer size of it. Also some resistance fighting with striders attacking.

Theres usually nothing wrong with joining a random server as people password them if they do not want random people joining; so play away!

And add :27015 onto the end of it (default port, i think it will try this port if none is supplied anyway.)
You will probably need to open a port on your router to allow the traffic through, try http://192.168.2.1/...
