Personally I'd wait until the 6800GT drops in the $360 range. You'll be getting a single slot card, 16 pipleines, and Shader Model 3.0

The fact that ATI didn't incorporate Pixel/Vertex shader 3.0 in their upcoming cards is whats really gonna hurt them this generation.

I've been considering buying a GeforceFX 5900, I found a few places online that are selling them for only $250!. But I think I'm honestly gonna wait to upgrade vid cards until the next generation from Nvidia is released.
