If the Combine wanted to destroy Earth, they could do so without any problems. With their intelligence, they probably have enough ships equipped with enough weaponry to blast a hole through anything they feel like. I think Earth has something the Combine want, or possibly need.

I have a feeling there is something on Earth very important to the Combine, and maybe that is what Mossman is looking for in the artic?

If GMan wouldn't have Interfered with gordon after the reactor blew, gordon would be dead. So maybe gordons mission wasn't done, and that the gman put gordon into stasis for a short time to save him from the explosion?

No new weapons, no new enemies, enemy AI is great, but don't let the no new weapons and enemies thing let you down. It is a great game doh, i forgot the zombines, yeah there is one new enemy you fight.

It occured to me when I played through the game last time, but could the huge thing dropping down from the Citadel that chews away at the ground also provide protection from Ant-Lions? Maybe this is why we see antlions in C17 after the Citadel is critically hurt.

The Vortiguants? Just played Garry's MOD, and the Vortiguants literally raped the Combine (ELITE) in half at medium to long ranges. LOL, who the hell needs Gordon when you have these super soldiers armed with an arm that launches an electrical nuke!

Today, June 3rd, 2005, i have succesfully installed half life 2 on my new computer. Just tried it with all the settings turned high, ran smooth as a babies bottom :D
