Hello! I don't know how this happened but now at my "Video" tab in options doesn't save when I make changes. This is for HL2/CS:S/HL2DM. It's really annoying to have to change my resolution and gamma every time I want to play. And at the picture test in gamma preference, is there 3 texts...

I'm playing 800x600 now and this problem haven't happened again. Something new occured though. CSS is so dark so I put Gamma to the brightest so I can see the test text, but it always resets everytime I restart CS:S/HL2/HL2DM. Anyone know how to fix this? config.cfg isn't read-only.

Maybe you have it set so you can't have much decals on? Or your cl_allowdownload(I think) and cl_allowuppload(I think) is set to 0

Hello When playing CS:S I get this weird problem. Whenever someone's planted the bomb and when I go to defuse it, I lag like hell when I "look" at it. FPS goes from 90 to 20. Anyone know the solution for this? Oh and, I have another weird problem. Like, when I move my mouse it's not...

Yeah I know it's weird. The problem wasen't the boot order, I tried all. About the ATI 9600 pro problem, I read on ATI's homepage that it cant run x8 on some systems. I hope they'll resolve this problem in their next catalyst.

No its not a warez copy. I got everything working now btw. I'm sitting on the new comp now and it runs good. Except I cant run my 9600pro in x8 'cause of "VPU Recover" errors.. But to fix the operative system thingie I changed something in boot.. changed the harddrive to "large" instead...

p4 1.8GHz 512ddram 9600 pro 800x600 On de_dust I play with 10-50fps, which truely sucks. On the stress test I got 62fps as average.
