couldnt they release a copy of hl2 that has been activated? i thought it was a one time activation? so if u copied that game to a second ofline pc wouldnt it work? maybe steam knows which pc it was activated on? but that would mean u could never change your pc

if they somehow got it months before it was being produced for sale it would be a leak. but as the game is out on tuesday and they most likely bought the game from a shop, its not leaked. doom 2 aplha was leaked. hl2 or bl being sold early isnt a leak

leaked is when someone inside the company leaks software out..... not when somone from a warez group get a retail copy early and puts it on the net.
