i think hes joking because you said 2000 grand it means 2,000,000 and that computer thingy he said is like one ultimate mega kujunga computer costing zillions!
but anyways for 2000 quid u could get pretty much anything u want.
i advise if u really want the best go for the AMD FX-51, expensive but the best out there at the moment. as for the rest ill let someone else cover it cos i dont know that much detail bout it.

I don't really have much to add, but a cray computer is supposed to be one of the fastest, most expenisve processors available. They're designed to do incredible calculations in seconds that would bring current processors to their knees. I doubt they'd be much good for gaming, the architecture probably isn't right.

Are a few sites you can use, best bet is to buy the parts and then build yourself. But for £2,000 you could go Alienware etc., but you would get, much better value by building

Yeah, you would get more for your money if you bought the components and then built the comupter yourself.
Though Alienware is...well, Alienware is Alienware. It's a pity you can't buy ALienware chassis seperatly =(
