[02/25/26] Incoming Source Media Update

Incoming Source is back with another update. Not quite as big as last time, but I just had to announce the joining of a new member. Going by the name of BlindShooter, he has some serious talent. Already creating plenty of work for us, including our alien weapon designs as well as vehicle designs. Rest assured, he will be doing human concept art down the road as well.

We are starting off this update with the first 100% Official Ingame screenshot. There are some clinks with it, but have been fixed since (in an updated build of the game). - Enjoy:


Next includes the beginning of BlindShooter's work. It includes the conceptual art of the Dawn BattleCruiser (human warship) which won't be usable in multiplayer, because, well... our maps aren't THAT big. It is part of the planned singleplayer campaign though. It also unviels our tank. We are not using the modern conventional tank design, we are going for the futuristic walking tank named the Cobra. It is roughly 2.5-3x the height of the player and features a twin .20mm machine gun as well as a rocket pod. It won't make the first release, but it will be in one of our Feature Updates. (Incoming Source plans to work on the game long after release, adding maps, new weapons (for both teams), vehicles, as well as game modes). Enjoy!


Next, our amazing new Concept Artist, BlindShooter has finished off the Altair Weapon designs that are going into production now. He is kicking some serious ass and doing some major work, enjoy the following:

Thats what i meant by clinks.

I don't think its an MP5 either, if that's what they were going for.

I like the HUD. It's pretty and minimalist.

What's the deal with the big space battle things, are they just renders?
 
yes the HUD is very smooth and nice. One thing makes me wonder though, why are they holding mp5's yet it says M4?
 
Those Altair weapon concepts are really nice, especially since they all have a similar style trend running through them. Please tell be that the lower rounded edge of the pistol and the upper edge of the SMG are blades for close combat. They seem to be in the right place (on the underside of the pistol so it can be brought down in a bludgeoning motion, and on the top side of the SMG so it can be swung two-handed in a low diagonal upwards motion across the body at enemies). Because that... would be sweetness incarnate!
