$1,500- what to do with it?

I'm from Mass too, what town do you live in?

Leominster- a small town near Worcester. It's the official birthplace of Johnny appleseed, and I live a stone's throw away from the town's last apple orchard.

Anyway, I think I've got a plan: I'm gonna upgrade my rig ($500), buy a new electric guitar ($250), get a couple of airsoft guns ($100), and save the rest ($650) or give it to charity. I also might pick up an Xbox 360 ($300?) if my parents don't pay for it. It's that or use it all for college.

By the way, how did you guys pay/ plan to pay for college? Is $1,500 enough to even make a difference?

Because people with minimum wage jobs are the underlings of society, and they should keep the money for themselves. They work really hard for it, and shouldn't just give it away.
