can someone tell me what 1984 is aboot

In short, it's about a guy struggling in a fictitious ultra-Fascist/Communist country. He falls in love.. it's a crime.. you really have to read it.

No wonder it's similar to 1984 when the game is actually based on that book. It has been discussed several times before.

The book is about a small society where "Big Brother" is always watching you, and the "Mind-Police" read the minds of the inhabitants. The main character Winston Smith is in great danger. His memories are still present. The "Big Brother" and "Mind Police" are supposed to control the memories and emotions of the inhabitants in the small society.
