3D glasses?

From what I can tell they're just 3D glasses that ship with a Nvidia tool that splits the image and makes games run in 3D. If that software is freeware then any old cereal box 3D glasses would probably work just as well.

They probably do work.

I used to own a pair of e-dimensional 3d glasses (looke em up)

They worked very well... but reduced framerates dramatically. So i ditched em..

Ubercool for a while tho..

very VERY old technology. they had this stuff back when i bought my nVidia Geforce or Geforce 2. the only difference is the style of the glasses have improved (not by much obviously).

they dont work either. they give you headaches.

I remember playing with those glasses that came with an old geforce 256. It was jawdroppingly awesome at the time. It does work. It can be kinda hard to focus the first few times, but you'll get the hang of it.

edit: haha lame
Once you start playing in True 3D, you’ll want to stop using your mouse and point a real weapon at the screen. You’ll have to put a post it note on the top of your monitor to remind you THIS GAME IS NOT REAL!

Also note that this doesn't work with TFT (LCD) screens.

I tried some 2D glasses once but I couldn't get them to stay on my face.

Shutter glasses, they work......sort of.
But they are annoying, they can give you a headache and you have to have a monitor with decent refresh rate and expect to play games in low res (unless you have a very good gfx card)

It's kind of like wearing full combat clothes and helmet whilst playing an army game or pilots helmet whilst doing a flight sim..........it's a bit of a gimick.

It probably has software, and then it works with the video card to seperate the colors our like a 3d movie would. So you have a 3d effect, of course it would probably just give you headaches.

I don't believe it.

Still waiting on glasses that contain two seperate flatscreen monitors, each slightly out of step, to give PROPER 3D direct into your eyes.
