6600 without a doubt. Just look at the benchmarks on it. Make sure you get the GT version.

umm notice that was only on doom 3 nvidia cards are great in that game and i was prob. going to get the 6600 because of the nice gfx quality

6600gt runs great in hl2, well ofcourse along with Doom and so on.

If you compare it to a 6600 GT, then it is a terrible choice. I am telling you get the 6600 GT. It is of better quality. The x600 is a lower range card. The x700 would probably equal the 6600, and the 6600 still would beat the x700. I am telling you 6600 GT all the way.
