The humor. the action. the characters. the gameplay.
It definitely warrants a sequel/continuation of sorts.

And a sequel to Rune, would be really awesome too.
It had GREAT multiplayer, I still play it from time to time.

I didn't have a problem finder a server with live people on it when I played a few months ago. But then again, there were quite a few bot-infested servers out there.

There were plans and even a teaser video in Dungeon Keeper 2, of a 3rd game in the series.

It was never made though.

System Shock 2, because Bioshock just doesn't look that good (graphics good...game play predictable). Deus Ex 2 preferably one not hamstrung in terms of content by an over demanding game engine (I'm in a City..where are the people..oh that's right the game engine can only handle about 6 entities in the same space at once..hey but look at those dynamic shadows...).

jagged alliance 2....great game...the turn based Isometric shooter needs reviving.

This type of game dragged into current gen would be very cool. I'd like to be able to zoom into any character and look around in first person and position their view to cover a doorway or window etc. Physics could be used in some very neat ways too. Bring back the isometric turn based shooter. Infact, bring back all the old isometric games - I want a new Syndicate!

I'd actually envisioned a game much like this after playing Gears of War and R6: Vegas and thinking of other applications of the cover system. But yeah, someone needs to make some decent shooters which aren't first/third-person (by which I mean over the shoulder). Top down need not be used exclusively for RTS!

Jagged Aliance 3D is in production (Again)

And the UFO series isn't bad, the 2nd one has a kick ass combat system, slightly mared by very samey maps.

Actually, it's not Jagged Alliance 3D mate, it's Jagged Alliance 3, and it's a new far more reliable company using a new engine, they're using is the S2(Silent Storm engine), which I know is a tried-and-true great TBS engine, also, reading some forum posts by the devs etc, it seems it'll whoop ass.
