I'm looking to get a Wii game (I'm so sick of Zelda), and I was thinking either Red Steel or Super Paper Mario.

I was looking around eBay and found Red Steel for $15 CDN and found Super Paper Mario for $25 CDN.

I remember hearing from alot of different places that Red Steel isn't a good game. Can anyone confirm this?

Any other games that are better? (they don't HAVE to be for the Wii)

I've only got at the most about $25-$30 CDN to spend, also note my 360 is being sent in to Microsoft for repairs, so I'd have to wait a while to play a game I'd buy for it.

i've heard nothing but bad about Red Steel, and nothing but good about Paper Mario.

so ya, i'd go with Mario. . .

I also heard a lot of people were put off with the controls on Red Steel. Although some said it was OK once you got the hang of it. Have to move the crosshairs far to the edge of the screen to move your view.

Paper Mario would be a good bet. Played RE4?
Too bad you are looking at lower priced games otherwise you could get Metroid Prime 3.

Super Paper Mario have it just havnt got to it yet. I hear its very good. or RE4

Red Steel was ok once you got used to the controls, like Asus said.
Not played Paper Mario. But I bet its pretty good.

I have Geometry Wars, it came with my 360 on a disc with like 6 or 7 other XBOX Live games, along with a disc of GRAW 1. Not that much fun, gets too hard D:

Paper Mario (VC) or Paper Mario 2 (GC). Your choice. They're both brilliant.

Sell your wii. Buy a new computer. Get Bioshock

Syberia for PC

One of my favorite adventure titles of all time, only $9 CND now, incredible game. Doesn't have steep system requirements like Bioshock.

Games shops usually have some older (and great) PC games really cheap. I recomend:
Any C&C (RTSs)
Dungeon Keeper (1 or 2) (RTSs, but very unique. At least, the aren't like other RTSs that I've played)
Theme Hospital (You can probably guess)
Grim Fandango (Hilarious puzzle game)
Any Monkey Island game (Same as above)
Any Commandoes game (RTS, but revolving around using only a select few commandoes, each with their own unique abilities)
Worms World Party

That's all I can think of for now.

Super paper mario. Don't get red steel I regretted it deeply.

Grim Fandango (Hilarious puzzle game)
Any Monkey Island game (Same as above)
Any Commandoes game (RTS, but revolving around using only a select few commandoes, each with their own unique abilities)

*checks riom's head for fever. Paw gets burned*

No wonder.

Resident Evil 4.

or Mercenaries, if you have a PS2 and can get it used.

Assuming it has to be cheap, but you could always spend a little more and get Metroid.

@riomhaire

Any C&C (RTSs) - Got most of them, every gamer should. Also got Dune 2000 D:

Dungeon Keeper (1 or 2) (RTSs, but very unique. At least, the aren't like other RTSs that I've played) - I was trying like crazy to find this game, but never could, it's even hard to find a pirated version, I just gave up.. Although that search was about a year ago..

Theme Hospital (You can probably guess) - Eh..

Grim Fandango (Hilarious puzzle game) - Boo (puts on flame suit)

Any Monkey Island game (Same as above) - Boo (flame suit)

Any Commandoes game (RTS, but revolving around using only a select few commandoes, each with their own unique abilities) - Got all 3 (original discs, not pirated). So much fun. My favorite is still #1. Haven't played the FPS one, yet. Probably sucks, anyways.

Worms World Party - Got it, pretty fun.

I was tired alright. I couldn't think of the proper names. And Mik, Commandoes techically is a game that revolves around stratagy that occurs in real time.
