Not suprising, that date has been expected for quite some time. Who knows if that's real or not, but it's fairly obvious that the game will be released some time in early November.

lmao that site looks so bad. And besides, the retailers had that date WAY before the RC was sent. It's all bullshit. How can a mag review a game oct 5th _with spoilers_ and expect people to not be able to play it for a MONTH!? Wtf is wrong with that logic?

"hey guys, all this cool shit happens in hl2 but you can't play it for 30 days, despite the fact that the RC was sent sept 15th."

That makes a whole whack of sense...not!

Those dates have been out for months, I don't believe anything before Gabe Newell comes to my place in Norway, knocks on my door and says: "Hello there norwegian person. Half-Life 2, our long awaited game, will be out on Xth. of X 20XX. I hope you will purchase this product, so that I can afford a new pair of underwear next month.", OR the game is made available over Steam. I will say "yay" either way.
