Are you circumcised?

You don't even have to answer in a post if you don't want to, but I'm interested to see is the statistics match up. Apparently there's a 75% prevalence of circumcision in America.
 
I'm not circumcised...I asked my mom many years ago when I was younger why I wasn't and she said basically, "if you decide you want to be circumcised then by all means, go ahead." Apparently we get better sex too, because the head is more sensitive since it's protected.
 
I actually have this for a penis, when the doctor tried to circumsize me it bit his hand off-

To all who voted No, how hard is it to keep your penis clean?

My ex-gf once told me she'd never again will date a guy who has not been circumcized. She said they look like elephant trunks and they are nasty. :LOL: Many other women in the US I've asked share the same opinion too.

Now, halflife2.net, this is a humorous post because he is making reference to the stereotype that many New Zealanders enjoy copulation with the Ovine species. Which is of course untrue.

But, yeah, in NZ uncircumcised is kinda the norm.
 
You would not believe the ignorance of people in this country when it comes to this topic, as well. Aside from the old standbys like about cleanliness, I literally once had a girl ask me when I informed her I was uncircumsized, "Does it work the same?"

As do I. It's quiet painful to have the glans out for long periods of time, and I don't imagine it's too pleasant for that to be your whole life.

Honestly, penises aren't very attractive under any circumstances. I'm not sure how much difference it makes either way.

EDIT: Why is 'Circumcision gone bad' linked to the right of the Penn and Teller video? Why can I see a big bloody shaft there? I literally can't watch this, that link is leering at me. Dear god.

yeah, the circumcision footage in the Penn and Teller video was pretty disturbing. But hey, if a girl chooses not to **** me based purely on some skin, then **** her.(because i'm not :p)
 
ITT we make the minority feel uncomfortable about their penis.
 
I'm not circumcised...but most people probably couldn't tell as my skin retracted in a very early age(it doesn't cover the head at all).
 
If you'd been born in New Zealand 50 years ago, you'd almost certainly have been circed. If you were born in the last twenty years, you almost certainly wouldn't.

Drops in male circumcision:
USA: from 90% to 56%
Canada: from 47% to 14%
UK: from 35% to about 3% (almost all Muslims and Jews)
Australia: 90% to 12.6%
New Zealand: 95% to below 3% (mostly Samoans and Tongans)
South America and Europe: never above 5%

It's actually the inner foreskin itself that is the most sensitive part of the penis. It's not just there to protect the glans. If you want to find out what it's like to be circumcised, try staying retracted all day long, and try having sex after spraying an anaesthetic spray on the inner foreskin. That gets cut off, so all the feeling will be lost. You'll be amazed at how little feeling you have in the glans.
