Need one desparately. My babys been getting attacked lately. Anyone help?

Get Spybot search and Destroy for spyware.

Bit defender for the viruses.

That should pretty much cover you. (Make sure you have a firewall too.)

you've been an awesome help, thanks

how do i out windows in safe mode, what does safe mode do?

jam on the f8 key repeatedly whilst windows is starting up, you'll get a menu to start in safe mode, among other options.

Safe Mode does not start anything special so it's just the basics. That way a virus may not be running when you install the AV software and exclude itself from the AV scans.

I've heard a lot of good things about Spy Sweeper (It isn't free though).
I personally use Spybot Search and Destroy along with NOD32 AV (Not free either).

I reccommend spybot search and destroy AND ad aware. as each doesnt catch everything

Right now, here's what I've got for my security:
ZoneAlarm (Free basic version)
Spysweeper (Free basic version)
AVG Antivirus Free Version 6.0
I also have Stinger as a secondary virus scanner

Nothing get's through my system, nothing. Zonealarm is good, AVG I installed recently but so far so good. For those who have read bad things about AVG, it was once a bad antivirus. But now it's really good. And Spysweeper I haven't heard many people mention but believe me it's awesome. It runs in the background and it also has a bunch of shields to make sure nothing tries to change anything on your computer including integrating themselves in IE and stuff as well as the spyware/adware protection:

IE Favorites Shield
IE Home Page Shield
IE Hijack Shield
IE Tracking Cookies Shield
Common Ad Sites Shield
Hosts File Shield
Memory Shield
Spy Installation Shield
Windows Messenger Service Shield (stops messenger from spamming you)
Startup Shield

Bosox , i will send many virusses to your computer! I will bypass your system!! :D

If you're looking to get some quality pretty cheap, that works *unbelievibly* well, then get Trend Micro's PC-Cillin. It OWNS!

Above that, Spybot S&D is the by far best spyware/adware/cookie cleaner.

I use Norton anti virus 2004, its really reliable i have about 2-3 trojan things trying to get in every month but good old norty stops them :D I also have mcafee security which is part of AOL.

Another really good cleaner is ADAWARE. Gets rid of all the tracking things and basically ad's. Even more if you look, registry keys, registry programs (things that change your websites w.out your consent) and stuff that hogs your pc's performance. Made by LAVASOFT

It isn't good actually. It misses a load of things Spybot S&D gets. You should get Spybot instead, trust me on that one. Besides, if you know what you're doing, Spybot is flexible like hell.

Most people use Ad-Aware and Spybot together as they each catch whatever the other misses. I use Spysweeper, as I already said before.
