Ok heres a couple of ideas that i have for a hl2 map one of them wuld be a huge and i mean huge teeter totter like setup. A crane would uphold a large beam over the up end of the teeter totter while a car and/or players are on the other end. A player inside the cran control room could hit a button releasin the beam and sending his friends hurling towards thier opponents! Other ideas would be small things like walls of buildings would be lined with pipes that u could shot to release steam out of them. Another would be to have a shelf with a large amount of barells over a doorway (like in the hl2 e3 footage) u could shot the shelf's support and the barellels would land on all enemies that came through the door muahahahahaha!!!! ok well i have others but lets hear some of ur ideas of how u wanna take advantage of this pyshics engine!
 
Those sound very good. sounds like they will take advantage of the HL2 engine.
What if you had players running up a hill and you released a bunch of barrels all at one time and they came tumbeling down onto the players?
 
I'm still sticking with the attaching cameras to the heads of npc characters and sending them to their deaths in various ways (monsters, falls, grinders, etc.) while watching it on camera.. sorta like the fear factor helmet cameras, lol

Aethaecyn's idea sounds fun, except for a couple changes - I'd have all of the NPCs' cameras feed into one large control room that shows all the screens at once. In the complex of tunnels and whatnot, there's a huge beast (maybe that ant lion) that's hunting them and has access to vents and stuff. The NPCs wouldn't have any weapons that would do any sizable harm to it, and they would die horrible deaths.
