2. Actually, yes, but only in the drier areas, and then only on the highways and outskirts of towns. Don't you have roadkills in your country? Here there are volunteers that care for native wildlife hit on the roads. My mum used to be one of them. We once had a kangaroo. Seriously.

3. We don't know whether or not Azaria Chamberlain was taken by a dingo, truth be told, it's a rather out of character thing for them to do. Some think she was killed by her parents. No one can say for sure.

Last time I checked Hawaii was only a very tiny part of the USA, so any statements you make about the way of life on Hawaii do not necessarily account for the USA as a whole. I know, that's pretty much a no-brainer, but apparently some people didn't get it.

The U.S. is good at some stuff, bad at others. There's not anything wrong with the people over here that isn't inherent to the entire human race (everyplace has it's nutjobs and ignorant assholes). Right now I would say we have a pretty bad bunch in the white house, but that could all change soon. The one thing that's really prominent in the US seems to be (to me at least) religious fanatics who do nothing but spew out hate, and brainwash people. It's kind of ironic that quite a bit of people over here think that the Mid-East is the only place with religious fanatics when we are probably the "Crazy religious fanatic" capital of he world. I don't really hear about fanatics in other countries too often. We also have a bad situation when it comes to race and ethnicity, there are lot's of bigots (from all races and ethnic groups) in the US, although race is not something people talk about publicly very often.

Edit: Does your new nation have a name Badger :)

But, it is a fact that USA is the richest, the strongest and the most powerful country.
NO ONE will go against USA 1 vs 1, or even 2 vs 1.
If not USA half of the world would live in poverty, and YES USA does have U.K and few other countries by their balls, and that is ANOTHER fact .... why would U.K go to Iraq for the war ?? they got no business there ?? BECAUSE USA got them by the balls.
Some people cant get over the fact that USA is the best country in every aspect.

The USA has a population of 280,000,000 and allows only 700,000 immigrants in every year.

Ireland has a population of just over 4,000,000 and we allow over 47,000 immigrants in every year.

Your population is 70 times higher, yet you only allow 14.9 times more people immigrate. That hardly shows how fantastic the US is. Or how fantastic Ireland is. It's just an pointless statistic.

I'm not going to go on a huge anti-American rant here. I've met plenty of Americans that I've liked and plenty of arrogant, ingnorant ones that I have not. Which is true of everywhere really. The only major problem I have with the US at the moment is its government.

I will say this: Ireland, like the rest of Europe, has its flaws. But it also has a ridiculous amount of good points and an extremely high standard of living. Statistics show that we have the highest employment rate in Europe (which is far higher than that of the US), the average worker earns more than the average American, and we are healthier and fitter.

Someone mentioned that Americans can be ignorant. Which has been quite true in my experience. I don't know everything about every part of the world. In fact there are many places about which I know nothing. The thing is that I don't pretend to. Almost every American I've met outside of Ireland has been convinced that Ireland is some sort of war zone. However, I live in the Republic of Ireland and such troubles are confined to Northern Ireland (which is actually a part of Britain, indeed this is the reason for the conflict up there). Needless to say I've never seen a gun, a bomb, an IRA member or anything else warlike. Our police force is not even armed, yet our crime rate is negligable.

That hardly makes us superior to you, no more than you guys having a higher population makes you superior to us. That argument is absolutely absurd. On that line of thinking, the Chinese are superior to us all. By far.

In closing, the country you're born in does not give you a certain value as a human being. The real point here that people seem to be missing is that we are all human beings, and thus we are all the same. I'm very happy with where I live, but I'm certainly not going to claim it's the best place in the world. A little common sense tells me that If I'd been born in another country that one would be my favourite.
