But I've heard about Rumours,in diffrent servers in DoD by the way, About another DoD coming out for HL2,As for a modification,I wouldn't know. I didn't start the rumours though,I heard em off of diffrent servers within the DoD community. Now is this stuff true? Or it hasnt been confirmed yet?...Or are the people on the servers trying to get attention because the kill ratio they have stinks?

I believe the DoD team has said after v1.1 they will start work on HL2. I always loved DoD.

The reason the DoD team have the SDK is that they are working here, at Valve, on DoD2. They are Valve employees.

All the mods sponsored by Valve will have sequels for the Half-Life 2 engine.
That includes:
CS 2
DOD 2
Sven x.x
TF 2 (in a million years)

Of course, various 3rd party mods will also be doing a major facelift for their HL1 mods including:
NS (rumors by fans, silence by devs)
Existence (Matrix mod that declared HL2 conversion while ago)
Firearms (not been decided though it's a fan favorite)

dod 1.1 will be out once the won servers shut down. The whole half life community will then be converted to steam via hl patch 1.1.1.1.Patches for dod and cs retail will follow which will include there updates. So basically once steam is all set they can shut down won and release patches
