For example, those program people use on their antlion vs. voltigaunts, civilians vs. combines, which program do I have to use to create one? Is it included in SDK, hammer editor?

No, not just spawning AI's, one you are on the open field with nothing. For example, the videos people have been posting with their flying airplanes, etc. How do I get to that open field?

Use Hammer ?

Its a map on fileplanet called Building Blocks.

That would be the Valve Hammer Editor. Load it up through the SDK, start mapping, and after enough tries you'll get the hang of it :) There's tutorials all over the place:

http://sourcedc.com/
http://countermap.counter-strike.net/Tutorials/ (doesn't seem to be working properly at the moment)

And a myriad of others. I lost all my favorites due to a catastrophic system failure about a month ago (read: I reformatted). Ask around, you'll find some good stuff.

The map is called Building Blocks_Final

Find it on fileplanet, download it, put it in your maps folder, and type 'map Building Blocks_Final' in the HL2 console, and it will start. If you want more fun with this map, download JB mod 5.0, which will allow you to weld stuff together and create cars and other things.

you should have said what map is that, not how do i create that, try using complete sentence.

you said something vs something, man you need to learn to use english right

fair point tkiller, and next time wait for a response in the other thread you asked in, instead of making a new one, theres people in both threads going out on a limb to help you. Please be more patient, and search the forums for answers next time. oh and enjoy the map (im sure you'll be back asking for help on how to install :P) and merry xmas ;)

Because I couldn't described it better? And for the ****ing last time, I didn't know it was a seperate map. Thought it was a seperate mod.

how can it be a mod? all he did was spawn some guys on a map!

And how in the ****s sake was I suppose to know that? I'm not a nerd like you. I don't know much about mods or maps which you can play in HL2. And I thought you can do that in seperate mod or program such as hammer editor.

Sorry, but I can't find the final version. All I could find was the beta versions of buildingblock map.

****ing nerd, still denying the fact? asshole? How could I ****ing tell it's a map by just looking at the images? It's samething as saying Strider mod is map by just looking at the images. Moron.

/me 's eye twitches slightly.

Okay, we got the problem fixed, now we can stop

EDIT: Woot, post 250!

Whats wrong with being a nerd?

Anyway, I dont see what could point at it being a mod, but if you have little experience with mods I can belive it can be hard to judge.
