I had exactly this with a girl recently. We've met up quite a few times. It was really weired. All my friends could tell easily, they would say things like
"When are you two gonna get together!?"
Right in front of both of us, and we'd both ignore it as if we hadn't heard it.

I havn't seen her for a week though so who knows, anyway, my advice to you is to let her know, thats what i'm gonna do when i see her tomorrow.

Yes i understand why, because i took advantage thinking shed never leave me.

Yes i would stop it when my guard is down.

I loved her, and she loved me, I though i could joke around that way with her, I guess I was wrong, I never meant to hurt her.

I never cheated on her or violated her trust.

As for everyone elses replies, looks like we've all been in the same boat some time or another.

The thing is she keeps telling me these stories of how guys (and even a girl :p) tried to hit on her and she just thought they were complete assholes. So I'm trying to be different and maybe she'll appreciate that.
 
Sucks for me my girl is very thick headed and stubborn, she may never come to realize I've changed.

Maybe she thinks the same way as your girl:eek:

What are you gonna do? I mean, i assume this girl knows you like her, you've just not voiced it yet, cos thats the way it is for me. We both know we like each other we just havn't said it to each other.

Well .. I'm gona get logistically prepared .. then take her out one day and then tell her. I have no clue how she will react .. but if I don't do it my head will explode from all this uncertainty.

Yeah, I didn't really make it clear enough, DO NOT TRY TO USE ANY SUBSTANCE TO GET OVER A RELATIONSHIP! EVER! Drugs aren't cool, they don't help your situation at all. I get up every morning and within an hour I want a hit. Then all through the day I'm thinking, "ahhhh, just one little bump wouldn't hurt," I'm addicted. ou never stop being addicted once you're there, you just learn how to control it. My wife (been married a year sept 7th) is how I focus on not needing drugs. You just have to find something that helps you gain your emotional center. I worked on my body. I went from 280 to 180 in a year just with exercise (I blew up after I quit the drugs). Find whatever it is that helps you let everything go. I had a friend who washed his car, inside and out for hours. Everyday he would do this when he got home from work, and that was his center. So i guess what I'm trying to say is find that thing that helps you and do it, but don't do drugs to help you.

On a side note, psilocybin can help you gain a whole lot of personal insight if used in the right ways. As well as MDMA, but not to get over a relationship. Mainly when you feel good about things. I've quit because I don't like that scene anymore, but what I said is medicaly proven.
 
When girls announce to you that you're a "good friend", the world ends. No way you can be closer than that with her.

It really REALLY sucks when girls do that...but I found that if you realize there are hundreds of hot smart girls around, you will be better off.
 
heh.... he's right ^ "good friend" sucks... it happened to my best mate... tore him up, anyway enough about that.... I'm apparently notoriously BAD at taking hints that someone likes me... a girl called Anna spent 3 hours hinting that she wanted to 'go upstairs' and I ignored it :p

Oh man I'm so lost when it comes to understanding girls. ;(

One time we were sitting outside and she said said that she was cold even though it was quite a warm day. Maybe she wanted me to put an arm around her or something?? I'm still not sure. Instead I started talking about the peculiarities of the local climate. :(
 
My friends made me go out with them last night, they made me forget all about her, I grew alot stronger being with them. I guess if you just let time run its course you heal. Her profile used to bother me that it said single and happy and all that shit. Now she found out I went out last night and had fun while she sat home and did nothing, so in her profile she made up a lame ass poem about how happy she is and how she loves being single. She's trying to play the love game and it just isn't working on me anymore.
 
Dude shes not worth I know it sucks when the feeling is not mutual but you gotta move on.
