Anyways, this isn't about this storm, it'll pass. Just wanted to know who my fellow storm junkies are, and maybe swap storm stories. :)

Sorry, not very well edited, just took the picture a minute ago. It's headed south, if you can see the way it's shaped. usually the storm bows out to the way it's heading as the front pushes on it, dragging the sides along. I have my camera ready. :p

Wave of rape coming your way.

As for storms, this year as been fairly outstanding in the amount and severity of storms.

I hope you can swim (or have a boat)

How bad is it looking?

Meh, not bad. There's been a few tornadoes in the area as of a week ago, but they're mainly F-0 to weak f-1. Barely enough to pull gutters off the houses. :/

And usually when they roll across the river they dissipate, and this one went across at sunset, so I'm expecting that by time it gets here it'll die out. It's moving a bit slow though, so they just issued a flash flood watch. THAT is what scares me. **** the tornaders, I have a basement, but if it floods there will be no basement to run to. O_o

Boy I'm glad I live on a Hill, don't have to worry about tornadoes or floods. The only tornadoes in California are in the ocean anyway though.

I've never actually seen a tornado, but i've been in the basement by myself when one passed nearby. An F-3 they said, and it was pretty far away, from what they said, it passed about 4 blocks away, but it sounded like my ears were going to burst because of how loud it was. if you're ever in the basement while it's storming, and you stop hearing rain and wind, abut still hear the thunder, and still notice that it's black outside, it's not a good sign. It's incredibly eerie and creepy too. Very nerve racking. I about shit my pants when I hear the sound that sounds exactly what they say, a freight train, but I had to let out a laugh as I heard a few birds squawk loudly as they hit the side of my house. I'm guessing they were caught in the wind, but I just found it hilarious. Nothing more funny than a bird flying full speed into a solid object.

THE STORM IS ALMOST UPON US! RAISE THE DRAW BRIDGE! SEAL ALL EXITS! BE PREPARED!

EDIT: Uh oh... Tornado sirens going off... Pray for me, guys. D:

Well, storm's over. Me and my bro went out driving around in it and I got 2 nice pictures. 1 of a windshield wiper blade, and the other of a tree. :D

Catching lightning in a picture takes a lot of practice. -.-

We almost hit a branch the size of a 5 year old tree, which I'm sure would have gutted the bottom out of the damn car, and we also went down a hill with trees stretching so far up it created a tunnel effect, and all we could see was the road flashing down at the bottom of the hill (Long way to the bottom too.) from the lightning. it was the creepiest thing I've seen in a while. That's how horror movies always start. :P

It's supposed to storm a lot more tomorrow, and it's supposed to be a lot worse each time too. Lucky for me that's the day I get my braces off and get the holy retainer. Hope i live long enough to enjoy not having braces. :|
