Absence of Players?

When I logged on today, on all my favorite servers, there were almost no people. What happened to all the players? Did anyone else notice the issue?

Or, since the latest update from steam came out (the protocol 6 one) non of the warez players can connect because they don't have the patch.

I am I was browsing around another forum (that provides links for the warez version) and they were all like "OGM I can't connect because I don't have protocol 6", some guy is working on a patch for them though

That's great, let's hope that Valve can update these security features regularly so these leeches lose interest. (or at least most of em)

True... but I *would* enjoy playing until I get my next check. I'm buying Gold.

Yet, there's too many people who will NOT buy, so it's good.
